I&F Welcomes Kristin Hofer

Inman and Fitzgibbons, Ltd. welcomes a new associate Kristin Hofer to the firm. She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Natural Resources and Environmental Science, with a minor in Business. While at U of I, Kristin studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, and was very active with the MDA Foundation, Phi Alpha Delta and Volunteer Illini Project.

Kristin received her Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School in 2009. While in law school, she clerked at a Chicago plaintiff’s worker’s compensation and personal injury firm, a family law firm, and served as a research assistant for Professor Diane Kaplan to study the effectiveness of Safe Haven Laws.

Prior to joining Inman & Fitzgibbons, Ltd., Kristin worked as a volunteer attorney for First Defense Legal Aid, an organization that provides 24 hour emergency criminal representation for individuals in Chicago police custody. She is a member and very involved with the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, and co-chair of the Young Lawyers Committee. Kristin is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
