From the IWCC and Arbitrator Jerry Jutila: “On January 16, the physicians at Rush University Medical Center discovered that Jerry Jutila has developed a brain tumor. The consensus of opinion from Jerry’s physicians and surgeons is that the tumor can be surgically removed without creating collateral damage.
Jerry will be admitted to Rush on Sunday, January 30, for surgery on Monday, January 31. Jerry and Barbara are praying for a quick recovery and hope for his successful return to his duties at the Commission within a few weeks. Jerry and Barbara appreciate your support and prayers.”
Chairman Weisz spoke with Barbara Jutila on Friday, February 4th. Jerry successfully made it through surgery on January 31st and is progressing on schedule. Jerry and Barb appreciate everyone’s continued good wishes and prayers.
Inman and Fitzgibbons wishes Arbitrator Jutila a speedy recovery.
